The #construction industry is the 2nd highest CO2 emitting industry in the world. TechnoCarbon is paving the way in #sustainable low-carbon materials and aims to replace even steel and concrete.

Helping to protect the climate and limit emissions, sustainable yet effective materials are the future of construction, civil engineering, energy and even aerospace. #TechnoCarbon has developed and patented CarbonFiberStone®, which is a high-performance composite material made from carbon fibres and stone. It is estimated to be five times more durable than steel or concrete while being 3 times lighter than steel and reducing the energy consumption by two-fold.

Using #CFS, beams, pipes, walls, and many more construction elements can be manufactured in a more climate-friendly manner. CFS was invented by Kolja Kuse in 1999, he then joined forces with Stephan Savarese to develop the business.
